Taking Charge of Your Professional Development
As a follow-up to January’s Breakfast Workshop on Navigating Your Professional Development, we will explore the successes and challenges that we have faced over the past month in implementing our New Year’s resolutions. Amongst peers, we will then work to develop strategies and support systems to overcome the challenges and continue on our professional development paths.
Please bring your Reaching Beyond Your Bubble worksheets and other handouts or materials that you would like to develop and/or share with the group. If you were unable to make January’s session, all materials are available here.

Volunteer Administrator of the Year Award: Reaching a Professional Development Destination
While we are developing our pathways to reach our 2014 and beyond destinations and goals, we should be plotting a course to nominate a candidate for GRAVA’s Volunteer Administrator of the Year Award – to be presented at the annual conference in July. The nomination forms will be out in early spring, but start identifying a candidate – yourself, a colleague, or peer – whom you would like to nominate. Then start collecting supporting documentation – specific examples, positive quotes, photos, etc.
