February Roundtable Recap

Thanks to Special Olympics Volunteer Services Manager, Ellen Costlow, for hosting our February Roundtable. Ellen gave us an overview of the Special Olympics programs in health, education, community building, and sports. The Special Olympics office space really tells the story of the athletes and volunteers through bold graphics, videos, and pertinent quotations.

The format of speed dating with our talented CVAs (members who have earned the Certificate of Volunteer Administration) proved exciting and generated a lot of great solutions and thoughtful discussions. We did hear the complaint from some participants that time was too short in each group but the CVAs provided great tools and tips to pursue more information.
