Morning Session: Transformational Leadership by Jennifer Bennett, VolunteerMatch
Who Me? Are you the leader volunteers and your organization need you to be?
This session will help all leaders of volunteer engagement, no matter their experience level or staff title, determine how they can be an effective leader for their volunteers and their organization, build buy-in for volunteer engagement, and engage volunteers in meaningful work. Using a Leadership Skills Needs Assessment they’ll determine what aspects of transformational leadership might be most effective in their organization and share ideas on how to acquire or build those skills.
Afternoon Choice of 2 sessions:
Session 1: Measurement and Storytelling in Volunteer Engagement
Your volunteer engagement program can be measured by more than just the hours a volunteer gives your organization. What other kinds of information should you keep track of, and how do you know if you’re doing a good job? In this workshop we’ll discuss how to gather and track information that tells the whole story of volunteer engagement in your organization. Using that information we’ll create a compelling story about the real work volunteers do, and why it matters.
Session 2: Coming soon!
Registration will open in March 2018!
