When? GRAVA holds monthly membership meetings from 8:30am – 10:30am on the first Thursday of every month (except August and December). The first 30 minutes are reserved for breakfast and networking, followed by a 90-minute program.
Where? We rotate meeting locations between spaces donated by our member organizations. This keeps your costs low, and gives you a great chance to hear about the great work being done across our community!
How much? Free for members, $5 for non-members at the door. Cost includes breakfast (and yes, plenty of coffee!)
What? GRAVA meetings come in two flavors…
- Workshops: Run by invited speakers who are local experts in topics relevant to volunteer management. Designed to provide members with bite size, tangible resources to apply immediately in their everyday practice. Workshops will provide content and exercises for real world-skills with the potential for immediate application.
- Roundtables: Facilitated by board members, and designed to provide members with in-depth discussion and interactive activities building on the preceding month’s workshop topic to help reinforce learning and application. We hit the sweet spot between recap (for those who missed last month) and deep dive (for those who attended and are eager to learn more!)
