GRAVA is delighted to be a host site for this year’s Creating Influence in Your Organization: Thinking Beyond ‘A Seat at the Table’ hybrid conference designed for those who engage volunteers, service delivery programs, and non-profits. This professional development opportunity presented by Al!ve, Better Impact, and Volunteer Management Professionals of Canada (VMPC) is now in its tenth year. The conference will consist of four 15-20 minute presentations by internationally known speakers, followed by local discussions in smaller groups and a moderated discussion with the other presenters, including responding to questions from the audience.
Rob Jackson, Director of Rob Jackson Consulting and an internationally known speaker, author, and trainer on volunteer engagement and inspiring people to bring change, will serve as the facilitator. Rob will lead discussions with this year’s speakers:

Nicole R Smith, Volunteer Community Engagement & Social Impact Professional, CVA - exploring what “The T.A.B.L.E.”: Obstacle or Opportunity? means to you and creating an invigorating strategy for maximum influence
Sarah Sukhram, Pasco County Animal Services’ Volunteer & Foster Care Coordinator, CVA - on Vibe Check: What’s Their Why? Learn Your Audience to Influence through Insight!
